By downloading or using Split Ease, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our app.
License to Use
Upon purchasing Split Ease, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on your iOS devices. This license is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Subscription Plans & Pricing
Split Ease offers flexible subscription plans to meet your needs:
- Monthly Plan: $2.99 USD per month
- Annual Plan: $7.99 USD per year (save over 70%)
Prices may vary by country and are subject to local currency conversions and applicable taxes. The pricing displayed in the App Store will be in your local currency.
Fair Usage Policy: All subscription plans include up to 75 bill scans per month. This limit ensures fair access to our machine learning resources for all users while covering typical usage patterns. If you need to scan more bills, additional scans may be available through in-app purchases.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Split Ease only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the app for any fraudulent or illegal activities
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Copy, modify, or distribute the app
- Use the app to process receipts you're not authorized to split
Accuracy of Calculations
While Split Ease uses advanced machine learning technology to scan and calculate bill splits accurately, we recommend users verify important calculations. We are not responsible for errors in splitting or calculations.
Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. By using Split Ease, you consent to our privacy practices.
Intellectual Property
Split Ease, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our intellectual property without our written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Split Ease is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Split Ease.
Refund Policy
Refunds are handled through the Apple App Store according to their policies. We do not directly process refunds. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Split Ease after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
